Hi there! My name is Sophia and and I’m an art director and designer
with over a decade of experience designing & art directing high-profile
entertainment attractions and events, both domestic & international.
My work has brought me from designing shows & entertainment for Walt Disney
Creative Entertainment (now known as Disney Parks Live Entertainment) in
Orlando, FL; to experiential marketing at innovative NYC agency Relevent
Partners working with brands such as Under Armour, Oreo, Samsung, Cadillac, etc; to currently working in Los Angeles as an art director for large-scale developments such as theme park lands, rides, and shows predominantly in
Asia and the Middle East.
My passions are in producing memorable & creative designs with emphasis on story and immersive experience. How can we use space to communicate a theme that the guest will respond to emotionally? How can we not just follow the “style guide” of an IP/brand, but bring it to a completely new level of experience for the guest? How do we not just use technology, but integrate it seamlessly with creative experience?
Almost all my projects have involved developing & overseeing the artistic/creative intent of projects through from beginning to end, while collaborating with all other technical, financial, and operational partners involved with concept, design, production, and in-field art direction.
